大众对甲壳虫沙丘概念车进行升级,新车将在下周开幕的北美车展亮相。大众最初曾在2000年发布了甲壳虫沙丘概念车，现在车厂将推出基于最新一代甲壳虫的升级版概念车。这款车采用粗犷的跨界车造型风格，包括外延式轮拱，车底护板，黑色防擦条和更大的合金轮圈。车厢内采用多个黄色装饰件和把手。该车动力系统为一台2.0升四缸汽油引擎，最大功率154千瓦/210马力，搭配六速DSG双离合器变速器。据传量产版将于2015年发布。

 

Volkswagen revises Beetle Dune Concept for 2014 NAIAS

Volkswagen has updated its Beetle Dune concept for the 2014 North American International Auto Show which will open its doors next week.

 

The original Beetle Dune concept (see attached pics) was introduced by Volkswagen in 2000 and now the German marque has prepared a revision based on the latest generation. The vehicle adopts a rugged crossover-like styling approach with flared wheel arches, protective plates, black moldings and large alloy wheels. The cabin boasts several yellow accents and a handle which has replaced the glove box.

 

Volkswagen has fitted the 2014 Beetle Dune concept with a 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter gasoline engine delivering 210 HP (154 kW) to the wheels through a dual-clutch 6-speed DSG.

 

Rumors are already indicating a production version is due sometime in 2015.
