Volvo V60 D5 Twin Engine Special Edition announced for Geneva

Volvo has announced plans to introduce the V60 D5 Twin Engine Special Edition at the Geneva Motor Show.

 

Based on the V60 plug-in hybrid, the special edition has a Crystal White exterior with gloss black accents and 19-inch alloy wheels.

 

Interior changes are limited but the model features Blond sport seats, a black headliner and piano black trim.

 

Power is provided by a plug-in hybrid system that consists of a D5 engine, an electric motor and an 11.2 kWh lithium-ion battery. This setup enables the wagon to produce a combined maximum output of 230 PS (169 kW) when the diesel engine and electric motor are working simultaneously.

 

Production will be limited to 500 units but there's no word on pricing.
