Facelifted Mazda CX-5 starts from 22,295 GBP in UK, goes on sale this spring

Mazda has announced the refreshed CX-5 will go on sale in the UK from spring of 2015 with prices starting at 22,295 GBP (28,510 EUR) and going up to 30,595 GBP (39,140 EUR) (OTR).

The 2015 CX-5 range will be available in three grades – the SE-L, the SE-L Lux and the Sport Nav. The lineup includes three 2.0-liter petrol two-wheel drive variants equipped with six-speed manual transmissions and thirteen 2.2-liter diesel versions - six of which are available with all-wheel drive with a choice of six speed manual or automatic transmissions.

 

All the models are now equipped with a manual front passenger seat height adjustment, an electronic parking brake, a coming/leaving home headlamp function and the company's Multimedia Commander. Higher trim levels benefit from a new 7-inch touch-screen that incorporates DAB radio, two ports for USB connectivity and MZD Connect. The range-topping Sport Nav versions can be equipped with 19-inch Gunmetal alloy wheels, LED headlamps including LED daytime running lights and LED fog lamps.

 

Optional features include an adaptive LED headlapms, a lane keeping assist, a blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and the Smart City Brake Support system that operates at speeds of between 2 and 5 mph (3.2-8 km/h) when reversing, automatically applying the brakes if the system detects an imminent rear impact.
