起亚第二代Optima预计将于今年4月在纽约车展首次亮相,新车将采用更锐利的全新设计。而该车也将是起亚首款采用全新轿车设计语言的车型，此外，将于明年发布的下一代Cadenza也将采用相同设计语言。据起亚内部人士透露，新车外观将与索兰托和Sedona完全不同Optima将继续采用“虎鼻”散热器格栅和新的前大灯及更大尾灯组。而汽油版车型前保险杠将增加更具侵略性和运动感进气口，混动版则采用进气格栅主动关闭系统，可以在需要输送更多冷空气时打开。另外，新车还将配备新的合金轮圈并增加更多车身涂装选择。车厢内将采用三辐方向盘，真皮仪表板，集成8英寸显示屏的新的信息娱乐系统及大量镀铬装饰。

 

Next-gen Kia Optima to get sharper design

The second generation Kia Optima will reportedly feature a sharper design when it debut in the first quarter of 2015.

 

According to TheKoreanCarBlog, the vehicle will premiere Kia’s new design language for sedan models that will be also used by the next Cadenza in 2016. The Korean company’s design team has told our source that the new Optima won’t look like the Sorento and the Sedona. It will continue to feature a “tiger nose” radiator grille with new headlights, while at the back there will be larger taillights.

 

The petrol variants will get aggressive and sporty air intakes in the front bumper, while the hybrid models will be equipped with closed grille that opens when cooling is required. New alloy wheels and colors are also expected.

 

As we have already reported, the interior will feature a three-spoke steering wheel, a new infotainment system with an 8-inch display and plenty of chrome trim. Our source also says the model will get a new leather-wrapped dashboard.

 

The 2016 Kia Optima is expected to debut in April this year during the New York Auto Show.
