
韩国现代汽车(及其子公司起亚)公司计划在河北和重庆各建一家年产30万辆车的组装厂,从而使其在中国的组装厂数量达到五家。其中河北工厂将于2016年下半年投产,2018年达到全部产能。重庆工厂今年三季度开关建设,将从2017年上半年开始投产,主要生产小型和中型车。这两家组装厂的最大年产量均为30万辆,这将使现代和起亚的市场份额达到10%以上。到2018年,所有五家工厂的产能将达到270万辆,大大超过去年的195万辆。
Hyundai plans two new factories in China, each with 300,000-unit annual capacity
Hyundai has disclosed plans to build two additional factories in China, raising the total number of assembly plants to five.
China is the world's largest car market so naturally Hyundai (and Kia) want a bigger piece of the action which is why in the second quarter of this year work will start on a new plant located in the Hebei province in northern China. Production of small vehicles is programmed to commence in the second half of 2016 and by 2018 it will reach full capacity.
The other factory is located in Chongqing (southwest China) will enter construction phase in the third quarter of this year and will be ready to assemble small and mid-size cars (including China-specific models) from the first half of 2017.
Both assembly plants will have a maximum annual production capacity of 300,000 units and will help Hyundai and Kia keep their market share above the ten percent mark. By 2018, all five factories will enable the South Korean duo have a combined production capacity of 2.7 million cars, a lot more than last year's 1.95 million.
