起亚近日发不了SPORTSPACE概念车，该车将在3月3日开幕的日内瓦车展首次亮相。起亚希望利用这款车向人们展示新一代Optima旅行车设计方向。这款在法兰克福设计的概念车的造型风格更突出实用性，车厂希望该车是一款融合时尚和驾驶乐趣于一身的四门旅行车。这款概念车采用低车顶，肌肉感引擎盖，带散热口前后轮拱，“冰立方”前大灯，细窄侧后视镜，时尚合金轮圈，车尾镀铬双排气尾管。当然，最终量产版的外观不会像概念车那么大胆，前卫。车厢内设计简洁，但突出功能性，采用大尺寸触控显示屏，真皮单体座椅，全景天窗和金属及抛光装饰件。起亚没有透露该车的车身尺寸，但从侧面图片看，这款车很大，车门和后悬都很长。

 

Kia SPORTSPACE concept revealed ahead of Geneva debut, previews Optima wagon

Kia has unveiled the SPORTSPACE concept which will be shown in the metal at next month's Geneva Motor Show.

 

The teaser shot published last week only showed the front half of the car which made us think Kia is cooking up a wagon concept and this has been confirmed today as the SPORTSPACE previews the next generation Optima which will likely be offered for the first time in the more practical body style. The mid-size wagon was designed in Frankfurt and promises to provide “stylish and exciting transportation for four.”

 

The production version will obviously be less dramatic than this concept which features a low roofline, bulging hood, vented front and rear fenders and "ice cube" headlights. We also notice a glossy upper front grille, automatically retractable door handles, slender side mirrors and stylish alloy wheels while at the back there are dual chrome exhaust tips.

 

In the simple yet functional cabin it gets a generous touchscreen display, one-piece seats wrapped in leather, panoramic sunroof as well as several metallic and glossy accents.

 

Kia hasn’t mentioned the dimensions of the car but the side profile indicates it’s quite large, especially after looking at length of the doors while the rear overhang is also substantial.

 

The Kia SPORTSPACE concept will premiere on March 3 at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
