Infiniti QX30 concept teased ahead of Geneva debut

Infiniti has released a teaser image depicting the QX30 concept set to premiere next month at 2015 Geneva Motor Show.

 

It was September 2013 when Infiniti unveiled the Q30 concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show and now they are just about ready to show its crossover sibling called QX30. Both cars will get a production version later this year and will borrow Mercedes-Benz's MFA platform used for the A-Class and GLA. This means power will come from Daimler's usual array of four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline and diesel engines while an all-wheel drive system will be optionally available.

 

The QX30 concept teased here will "inspire a premium compact crossover targeted at a new generation of premium customers." The attached image shows an interesting rear end with a prominent tailgate and sleek LED taillights together with a massive bumper housing large exhaust tips. Also noticeable are the beefy tires and wide wheel arches with plastic body cladding.

 

Infiniti says they will unveil the QX30 concept on March 3 but until then they will probably publish more teasers.
