西亚特内部人士透露,车厂计划推出敞篷概念车,该车将成为马自达MX-5竞争车型，不过在造型设计上将更具动感，同时采用碳纤维车身部件，与引擎盖连成一体的特殊前风挡。而在车尾则采用突出的后散流器和中置梯形排气尾管。该车将搭载混动系统，包括一台149千瓦/200马力1.4升TSI引擎和一台电机，综合输出功率超过179千瓦/240马力。这款车的前后重量分配达到50:50黄金比例，车重仅为960公斤。

 

Seat intern envisions Roadster concept

Seat intern David Cava has envisioned the Roadster concept which would act as a competitor for the new Mazda MX-5.

 

In the second half of this year, David Cava was an intern at Seat and during his stay he developed a roadster concept "designed with character and fun to drive in mind." It would act as a competitor for the Miata but with a more dynamic design and carbon fiber body parts. It also has a special windshield "that flows from the bonnet" while at the back there's a prominent rear diffuser with a trapezoidal exhaust pipe in the middle.

 

David Cava envisioned the Seat Roadster concept with a hybrid powertrain that mixes up a 200 bhp (149 kW) 1.4 TSI with an electric motor to provide a combined output of more than 240 bhp (179 kW). The vehicle has a 50:50 weight distribution and tips the scales at less than 960 kg (2,130 lbs).
