近日谍照记者在西班牙拍到了一辆正在测试的神秘宝马3系原型车。它的车身看起来像335i,但配备了升级制动系统和黄色卡钳。目前3系车没有任何一款车标配此种制动系统，这暗示该车很可能就是M340i M Performance版本。据外媒报道，该车将搭载新的B58B30M0 3.0升六缸引擎，功率在268-276千瓦/365-375马力。这款车很可能会在明年与3系改款车一起发布，其竞争车型主要是将在明年1月北美车展发布的奔驰C450 AMG。这款车也可能是340i，据传将于明年替代现行版335i。

 

Possible BMW M340i M Performance spied for the first time

A mysterious BMW 3-Series prototype has been caught on camera during tests in Spain.

 

The body of the vehicle looks similar to the 335i, but features upgraded brakes with yellow calipers. Currently, no variant of the 3-Series is available with those brakes as standard, which hints this could be a M340i M Performance version of the model.

 

According to Motor.es, the M340i M Performance will be powered by a new B58B30M0 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine with 365 - 375 HP (268 - 276 kW). It will likely join the 3-Series range in 2015, when the model will be facelifted. The M340i M Performance will compete against the Mercedes-Benz C450 AMG, set to be unveiled during the Detroit Motor Show in January 2015.

 

There is also a possibility this is the 340i version, rumored to replace the current 335i in 2015.
