最近谍照记者首次拍到了下一代2016款宝马5系采用量产版车身的照片,不过遗憾的是,这辆车进行了重度伪装。从照片看，下一代5采用渐进式而非革命性改款。虽然车身进行了伪装，但仍能看出不同的车门把手，前翼子版进气口，新的A柱，带有水平特征线的改款车门以及更平坦的后窗。新一代5系采用宝马新开发的35up平台，由于采用包括碳纤维材料在内的轻量化结构，车重将比现行版降低100公斤。至于动力系统，预计M550xd将搭载四涡轮增压引擎，功率达到408马力，扭矩750牛米。而将于2017年发布的M5功率将达460千瓦/626马力并可选装xDrive全驱系统。而入门级车型将搭载150马力三缸涡轮柴油引擎。目前宝马还在开发插电混动版，据说将搭载2.0升四缸涡轮汽油引擎和一台电机。下一代5系轿车将于2016年7月上市，随后是旅行车将于11月上市，GT版本则要等到2017年才能上市。

 

Next generation BMW 5-Series Sedan spied with production body for the first time

The 2016 BMW 5-Series Sedan has been spied for the first time with a production-ready body but unfortunately the prototype was fully camouflaged.

 

So far we have seen prototypes of the next-gen 5-Series with a body combining panels from the current model and its successor and now our spies caught on camera the sedan featuring the entirely new body which will be an evolution rather than a revolution compared to the outgoing variant. Although dressed in heavy camo, we notice the new mid-size executive sedan has different door handles, front wings air breathers, reshaped A-pillars, modified doors which boast a horizontal character line while at the back there’s a flatter rear window.

 

Believed to ride on the newly developed "35up" platform, the overhauled BMW 5-Series will likely shave off up to 100 kg (220 lbs) as a result of using a lightweight construction that will make use of carbon fiber among other advanced materials.

 

In terms of engines, expect to see a quad turbo developing 408 HP & 750 Nm in an M550xd variant while the flagship M5 is bound to arrive in 2017 with up to 626 HP (460 kW) and optional xDrive. The base model could be a 150 HP 3-cylinder turbodiesel while a plug-in hybrid derivative is also in the works and rumored to combine an electric motor with a 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine.

 

The regular BMW 5-Series Sedan will allegedly hit the market July 2016, followed in November by the Touring version and in 2017 by the GT model.
