2015 Ford Mustang Convertible headed to dealerships

The 2015 Mustang went into production a couple of months ago but Ford has just announced the convertible variant will soon be headed to dealers.

 

Since the car will arrive just in time for winter, Ford points out the Mustang offers heated seats, a remote starting system and a selectable drive system with a snow / wet setting. Ford Mustang brand manager Melanie Banker also highlighted the cooling feature on the seats but noted "we suspect customers won’t be using this function for a few more months."

 

As a refresher, the 2015 Mustang Convertible will be priced from $29,925 and will be offered with three different engines including:

A 3.7-liter V6 engine with 300 bhp (223 kW) and 280 lb-ft (379 Nm) of torque

A 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder with 310 bhp (231 kW) and 320 lb-ft (433 Nm) of torque

A 5.0-liter V8 engine with 435 bhp (324 kW) and 400 lb-ft (541 Nm) of torque
