奔驰-AMG近日发布了GLE 63轿跑车图片，该车作为宝马X6 M竞争车型将在北美车展正式发布。GLE 63具有典型的AMG车型特征，包括更具侵略性车身组件，不过这些组件设计合理，并未破坏车身整体协调性，因此并不显得太突兀。该车动力系统为一台取自AMG GT的4.0升V8双涡轮增压引擎，在那款车上的功率和扭矩为462马力/600牛米。奔驰还将推出动力更强劲的S版本，预计功率和扭矩也将与AMG GT S达到510马力/650牛米。该引擎在C63上的功率和扭矩为476马力/650牛米，在C63 S上达到510马力/700牛米。

 

Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 Coupe teased ahead of Detroit reveal

Mercedes-AMG have released a teaser video of their GLE 63 Coupe scheduled for a full reveal next week in Detroit at 2015 NAIAS.

 

It turns out rumors were true and Mercedes will show the GLE Coupe in the fully-fledged AMG flavor in a few days at NAIAS with a more aggressive body but not too obtrusive. We already got a clear look at the model through a series of spy shots showing what Daimler is cooking up to rival the BMW X6 M.

 

The only mystery relies under the hood where the GLE 63 Coupe could possibly receive the twin-turbo V8 4.0-liter engine. If this turns out to be true, the motor will deliver somewhere along the lines of 462 HP & 600 Nm as in the AMG GT. There could also be an S version with slightly more power, following the same philosophy as the AMG GT S which packs 510 HP & 650 Nm. The same engine also resides inside the C63 where it generates 476 HP & 650 Nm while in the C63 S it pumps out 510 HP & 700 Nm.

 

We will know for sure next week when the GLE 63 Coupe will premiere in Detroit at 2015 NAIAS.
