戴姆勒近日宣布,计划未来几年为旗下子公司Deutsche ACCUmotive投资约1亿欧元用于增加环保车型搭载的锂电池产量。Deutsche ACCUmotive目前为Smart ForTwo 电动车和奔驰的S级、E级和C级混动轿车提供电池。戴姆勒表示，将于2016年推出新款ForTwo和ForFour电动车，未来还将增加更多混动车型。

 

Mercedes confirms additional hybrid variants, Smart ForTwo & ForFour Electric Drive for 2016

Daimler has announced plans to invest approximately €100 ($124.7) million in their Deutsche ACCUmotive subsidiary to increase the supply of lithium-ion batteries for eco-friendly models.

 

The subsidiary currently supplies batteries for the Smart ForTwo Electric Drive and hybrid variants of the Mercedes C-, E- and S-Class but hinted we can expect additional models in the future. Daimler was coy on details but confirmed the new ForTwo and ForFour Electric Drive will be launched in 2016. The company also hinted at future Mercedes hybrids but declined to elaborate.
