奔驰近日宣布,将推出AMG Sport系列高性能车型。奔驰表示，AMG Sport系列将提供更强的性能和优异的技术。该系列车型将填补采用AMG Sports套装车型和传统AMG车型之间的空白。该系列车型竞争对手包括宝马M Performance系列车型。AMG Sport系列将标配升级版引擎，全轮驱动，以及与AMG车型一样的底盘部件和制动系统。奔驰将在明年北美车展发布两款AMG Sport系列车型。近日，奔驰发布了一张图片，上面有两款车，其中左边的一款车顶线条类似宝马X6，显然就是GLE轿跑车，而另一张或许就是AMG Sport系列车型。

 

Mercedes-Benz introduces AMG Sport range and teases GLE Coupe

Mercedes-Benz has announced the AMG Sport family of high-performance models.

 

According to the German manufacturer, they will offer “enhanced performance and technical refinements” and will fill the gap between the AMG Sports package for Mercedes-Benz vehicles and the classic AMG models. It will compete against the likes of the BMW's M Performance range.

 

The lineup will be offered with upgrated engines, all-wheel drive as standard in selected markets and special chassis components and brake systems from the AMG models.

 

The first two models of the AMG Sport range will be revealed during the Detroit International Auto Show in January 2015. Judging by the sloping roofline of the left vehicle from the photo above, one of the models could be the GLE Coupe. It is planned to add further models to this new product line in due course.
