Opel Karl render shows what to expect

Opel's upcoming entry-level Karl city car has been digitally imagined ahead of next year's reveal.

 

We already know the Suzuki Wagon R+ based Agila is about to be replaced by an all-new model which will be commercialized as an Opel Karl in Europe, except for the UK market where it will be known as the Vauxhall Viva. Seen here is a speculative render based on the official teaser image as well as on the spy shots which keep surfacing the web.

 

The A-segment hatchback will be an entry-level offering from Opel / Vauxhall and will be 3.68 meters long, with enough room inside the cabin for up to five people. It will be available exclusively as a five-door hatchback and will likely get Adam’s engines, including a 115 HP three-cylinder 1.0-liter turbo which will probably be the range-topper.

 

The Opel Karl / Vauxhall Viva will be introduced next March at the Geneva Motor Show before going on sale in the summer.
