Citroen C4 facelift leaked

Preliminary details and images with the Citro?n C4 facelift have surfaced the web ahead of an imminent official reveal.

 

It was June 2010 when Citro?n introduced the second generation C4 and now time has come for a mid-life facelift to keep the model fresh in the highly competitive compact segment of Europe. The styling updates start at the front where the headlights now have a darker trim and a thicker strip of LED daytime running lights.

 

Moving to the back, the taillights now have different graphics and frankly look less stylish than the ones of the current model while inside the cabin there's a new infotainment system packing a seven-inch touchscreen display.

 

According to our source, there's a new frugal four-cylinder, 1.6-liter BlueHDI engine delivering 100 bhp (75 kW) and allowing the C4 facelift to have a fuel consumption of just 3.3 liters / 100 km (71.2 mpg US or 85.6 mpg UK).
