吉利近日提前公布了GC9旗舰级轿车细节,该车将于12月15日在水立方举行的吉利品牌之夜正式发布。吉利曾在去年上海车展发布了一款KC概念车通常被视作该车的概念版车型。就在国内很多车厂仍热衷于模仿和山寨国外车厂技术及外观设计的时候，吉利以及雇佣沃尔沃前首席设计师彼得?霍布里(Peter Horbury)负责新车造型设计。虽然该车前格栅设计或许会被很多人所诟病，但整体设计很时尚。车辆内装与很多国产车相比也有大幅提升，同时该车在C-NCAP撞击测试中获得五星评级，也是同级车型中最安全的车型之一。该车由吉利位于哥德堡、上海和洛杉矶的设计小组完成，可提供三种动力系统，分别是入门级车型搭载的2.4升自然进气引擎，1.8升涡轮增压和直喷引擎，顶级款搭载的3.5升V6引擎，所有引擎都搭配吉利开发的六速自动变速器。

 

Geely GC9 previewed ahead of December 15 full reveal

Geely has released preliminary details and images about the GC9 flagship model set to be unveiled on December 15.

 

Perhaps the most interesting car to ever come from China, the GC9 represents Geely's forthcoming range-topping model which was previewed last year through the KC concept at Auto Shanghai. While other Chinese automakers just use the copy/paste technique when "designing" their cars, Geely hired ex Volvo chief designer Peter Horbury as the man in charge of the styling department.

 

It was a very smart move as the GC9 stand out from the rest of China-made cars with a sophisticated design although that front grille will probably be criticized by many. The interior cabin is also a massive improvement compared to other cars from China and it's also one of the safest as the car was engineered to achieve a five-star rating in the C-NCAP crash tests.

 

Developed by a global team from Gothenburg, Shanghai and Los Angeles, the Geely GC9 will be available with three engines: a base naturally aspirated 2.4-liter, a 1.8-liter turbocharged motor with direct-injection and a range-topping 3.5-liter V6. All of them will work with a Geely-developed six-speed automatic transmission.

 

Full details will be available on December 15 when the GC9 will premiere at the Geely Brand Night organized at the Beijing Water Cube in China.
