标致证实计划推出308 GTi，功率将达到250或270马力。308 GTi的测试谍照已经多次现身网站，而标致运动车部门主管Bruno Famin表示，该车的定位在308GT之上。308 GTi将搭载一台取自RCZ R的1.6升四缸THP涡轮增压引擎，在RCZ R上该引擎功率为270马力。除了功率更强劲外，GTi版本将加装更多运动套件，而悬架系统也会经过运动化调校，未来该车将与高尔夫GTI车型直接竞争。308 GTi将作为一款旅行车于明年发布，未来标致还将推出308系列的顶级款308R（该车很可能只有掀背车一种车型）。

 

Peugeot 308 GTi confirmed with 250 or 270 HP

Peugeot has confirmed plans for a 308 GTi which will have either 250 or 270 HP.

The 308 GTi has been spied several times undergoing testing and now Peugeot Sport director Bruno Famin has confirmed the model is in the works to sit above the recently unveiled 308 GT. At a recent presentation of the company's performance arm Peugeot Sport, a slide was shown revealing the 308 GTi will have either 250 HP (184 kW) or 270 HP (199 kW), figures which have also been confirmed by Bruno Famin.

 

Chances are the engine in question will be a four-cylinder, 1.6-liter THP turbo sourced from the RCZ R where it puts out 270 HP. The aforementioned 308 GT packs a lesser version of the same engine with 205 HP (151 kW) and can also be had with a four-cylinder 2.0-liter BlueHDi diesel rated at 180 HP (132 kW) but don't expect this in the 308 GTi.

 

An official launch will likely occur at a major auto show next year and Peugeot could decide to offer the 308 GTi as a wagon as well. Further down the line, there could also be a range-topping 308 R (likely hatchback-only) as previewed by the namesake concept with even more power.
