欧宝高性能部门经理Wilfried Dieh近日宣布，将于2017年发布下一代雅特OPC。新车将不再采用现行版的2.0升四缸涡轮增压引擎，而是更小的1.6升引擎，功率可达209千瓦/280马力，略高于现行版的206千瓦/277马力。另外，虽然现行版的重量达到1475公斤，但据Dieh透露，新一代OPC的重量将降低150公斤。大规模瘦身主要是由于新车大量采用了欧宝在去年3月日内额车展发布的雅特OPC EXTREME概念车的轻量化部件。

 

Opel confirms next-gen Astra OPC coming 2017 with 280 bhp 1.6-liter turbo engine

Opel's Performance Variants Manager Wilfried Dieh has announced the next generation Astra OPC will be launched in 2017.

 

The vehicle will drop the four-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine of the current generation for a smaller 1.6-liter that will develop somewhere in the region of 280 bhp (209 kW) so output will be slightly higher than today's model which has 277 bhp (206 kW).

 

However, while the current Astra OPC weighs a hefty 1,475 kg (3,251 lbs), its successor could lose as much as 150 kg (330 lbs) according to Wilfried Dieh. This massive diet will be possible by sourcing some lightweight components from the radical Astra OPC EXTREME concept displayed back in March at the Geneva Motor Show.
