SEAT crossover mule spied for the first time
This highly camouflaged mule may not look like much but it is believed to be an early prototype for SEAT's first crossover.
Announced back in March, the crossover will ride on the MQB platform and is rumored to be heavily influenced by the Leon. This means engine options could carryover and include an assortment of four-cylinder petrol and diesel units.
Despite its hatchback origins, the crossover is expected to feature a rugged exterior with plastic body cladding and squared-off wheel arches. Front wheel drive could be standard but all-wheel drive should be optional.
The production model is expected to be introduced at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show before going on sale in 2016.
