2015 Kia Sedona pricing announced (US)

Kia has disclosed pricing information for the all-new 2015MY Sedona which kicks off at $25,900.

 

The third generation mid-size MPV from Kia debuted in April at the New York Auto Show and now it's available on order in four trim levels: L, LX, SX and SX Limited. All versions are powered by a 3.3-liter V6 GDI engine developing 276 bhp (206 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 248 lb-ft (335 Nm) at 5,200 rpm sent to the road through a 6-speed Sport-Matic gearbox.

 

Compared to its predecessor, the overhauled Sedona comes with a 1.6-inch longer wheelbase granting a more spacious interior cabin which features a 60:40-split folding third row featuring an in-floor retractable configuration. The second row of seats has a Slide-N-Stow design offering the possibility to slide and fold upright to enable a bigger cargo area necessary when carrying bulky items.

 

All seats benefit as standard from YES Essentials fabric technology providing anti-microbial, anti-static protection as well as resistance against stains. Opt for the range-topping SX Limited trim priced from $39,700 and you get soft Nappa leather upholstery sourced from the company's K900 flagship model.

 

The 2015 Kia Sedona can be configured with a hands-free Smart Power Liftgate that automatically opens the rear lift gate if it detects the key fob for three seconds.
