最近谍照记者首次分别在加州沙漠和德国纽伯格林赛道拍到了正在进行测试的2016款起亚Optima原型车照片。新车不仅采用了全新开发的平台，而且外观也进行了重新设计。在纽伯格林赛道拍到的原型车进行了重度伪装，因此无法看清细节，但加州测试车伪装略少，因此能看到车头采用了全新前大灯和新的网格格栅以及重新设计的保险杠。侧面照片显示车身更长，车窗轮廓更顺滑，而且后门车窗进一步向后延伸，显示后排空间更大。车尾也进行了重新设计，但由于伪装得太严实，无法看清细节。车厢内照片显示内部采用了新的仪表板并配备带触控屏信息娱乐系统。目前不清楚该车动力系统细节，但预计新车将搭载一系列汽油、柴油引擎并提供混动版，标配手动变速器并可选装自动变速器。预计2016款Optima将于明年投产。

 

2016 Kia Optima spied for first time - inside and out

Prototypes for the new 2016 Kia Optima has been caught for the first time. The international development effort was caught in two separate locations: in the California desert as well as on the famous Nurburgring in Germany.

 

A major redesign is on the way with a completely reworked platform and a new skin to match.

 

While the prototypes had thick black clad camoflage covering the significant design changes in Germany, we were able to see a little more in the United States. The front end is getting brand-new headlights, a new mesh grille as well as a redesigned bumper.

 

The profile shows longer and sleeker side windows that extend further behind the rear passengers all the way to the C-pillars. The rear is also expected to get a redesign but we will have to leave that to the imagination due to the high level of cover on current prototypes.

 

The revealing photos of the cabin also tell us a new dashboard is on the way featuring what appears to be a touchscreen infotainment system.

 

Powertrain details are scarce at the moment but we should expect a range of petrol, diesel and hybrid engine units joined with manual or optional automatic transmission systems.

 

Expect to see the 2016 Kia Optima for the first time in production format sometime during 2015.
