Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Red Vapor special edition bows in France

Jeep has unveiled the Grand Cherokee SRT Red Vapor special edition at the Paris Motor Show.

 

Looking absolutely sinister, the special edition features gloss black accents and 20-inch alloy wheels with a Black Vapor chrome finish. Additional changes are limited but Jeep says the model will be available in three colors including Redline Pearl Clear Coat, Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Coat and Bright White Clear Coat.

 

The two-tone styling continues in the cabin as there's black leather seats with Radar Red suede inserts. The model also has faux carbon fiber trim, Radar Red contrast stitching and a flat-bottom steering wheel. Other goodies include a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system and a Uconnect infotainment system with an 8.4-inch display, Bluetooth connectivity and GPS navigation.

 

Power is provided by a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine that develops 468 HP (344 kW) and 624 Nm (460 Nm) of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission which enables the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in five seconds before hitting a top speed of 257 km/h (159 mph).
