Renault to introduce an eco-friendly concept in Paris, could return 141 mpg UK

Renault's Senior Vice President of Design has revealed plans to unveil an “experimental engineering” concept at the Paris Motor Show.

 

Speaking to Autocar, Laurens van den Acker said the concept will be based on a new lightweight platform and feature styling cues from sports cars, crossovers and hatchbacks.

 

There's no word on what will power the concept but it will reportedly return 141 mpg UK (117.4 mpg US / 2.0 L/100km). This figure was recently put forward by the French government which wants automakers to produce a car capable of returning 141 mpg UK (117.4 mpg US / 2.0 L/100km) by 2020.
