2015 Suzuki Vitara first official image released ahead of Paris debut

Suzuki has unveiled the 2015 Vitara which will be shown in public early October at the Paris Motor Show.

 

If the design looks a bit familiar, that's because the 2015 Vitara is essentially a production version of the iV-4 concept shown by Suzuki at last year's Frankfurt Motor Show. The Japanese marque has decided to bring back the "Vitara" nameplate which was first used more than half a century ago on a similar model.

 

Front-wheel drive will be standard but for more money clients will be able to opt for the ALLGRIP all-wheel drive system sourced from the larger SX4 S-Cross. Suzuki says the 2015 Vitara will be powered by a variety of gasoline and diesel engines promising to bring one of the lowest fuel consumption and CO2 emissions figures in this segment.

 

Scheduled to go on sale in United Kingdom next spring, the Vitara will be sold with a generous array of personalization options including numerous colors and trims.
