福特内部人士近日披露了新一代福特福克斯RS细节,该车将于2016年上市。先前几乎很多报道都表示，2016款福克斯RS仍将采用前轮驱动，但内部人士表示，新车将采用新开发的全轮驱动系统，而且该系统与Fusion, Escape和MKZ所采用的都不同。得益于前后扭矩矢量分配系统，新车将提升转向性能并提供更具运动性驾驶感受。至于动力系统，新车将搭载取自新一代野马的2.3升四缸EcoBoost，但功率将提升至239-257千瓦/325-350马力。考虑到福克斯RS是一款高价低产量车型，输出功率很可能达到数值上限。虽然福特内部人士没有透露新车将搭载何种变速器，但有传言称将配备六速手动变速器。另外预计新车将提供升级版RevoKnuckle前悬和更大的轮圈，刹车盘以及更硬悬挂，预计新车起价约为4.5万美元（约合人民币27.7万元）。

 

2016 Focus RS will have AWD and 325-350 PS

A source close to Ford has shed some light about the new Focus RS set to arrive sometime in 2016.

 

Just about all previous reports indicated the 2016 Focus RS will come with a front-wheel drive layout but now a Ford insider cited by Road & Track says the hot hatchback will make the switch to a newly developed all-wheel drive system different from the one implemented in the Fusion, Escape and MKZ. It will benefit from front & rear torque vectoring which will improve steering and provide a sportier feel behind the wheel.

 

Power will come from a 4-cylinder, 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine borrowed from the new Ford Mustang but output will be bumped to somewhere in the region of 325 - 350 PS (239 - 257 kW). Taking into consideration the Focus RS will be a high-priced low-volume model, chances are output will be closer to the higher mark.

 

The Ford insider hasn't said anything about gearboxes but previous rumors indicated the use of a six-speed manual transmission. Also expect to find an updated RevoKnuckle front suspension together with beefier wheels, larger brakes and a stiffer chassis – all for an estimated starting price of almost 45,000 USD.
