Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA to battle the BMW M3 with 480+ bhp

The Alfa Romeo Giulia has been delayed more times than we can count but the setbacks could be worth it as a new report is indicating there will be a high-performance GTA variant.

 

Set to battle the BMW M3, the Giulia GTA will reportedly feature an aggressive front bumper, a ventilated hood and hidden rear door handles. We can also expect a prominent grille and distinctive alloy wheels.

 

Motivation will be provided by a Maserati-sourced twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine that produces 480-520 bhp (358-387 kW). It will reportedly be connected to a dual-clutch transmission which sends power to the rear wheels via a limited-slip differential. If everything pans out, the car could accelerate from 0-100 km/h in less than four seconds.
