据澳洲媒体报道,沃尔沃计划在未来三年内对旗下车型阵容进行全面更新并增加新车型。其中备受期待的第二代XC90只是其中的一款车型，而沃尔沃将在2017年前对旗下所有车型都进行更新。继8月26日发布新一代XC90之后，车厂还将着手准备在明年推出S90旗舰级轿车，该车将比S80更大，更豪华，同时还将增加轿跑车衍生版本。此外，沃尔沃明年还将推出V80旅行车或XC80跨界车，只是目前不清楚这两款车是否同时发布。车厂还将在2016年发布全新XC60，该车将有Polestar高性能版本，随后将是在2017年推出下一代S60轿车，V60旅行车和V40掀背车。

 

Volvo to overhaul entire lineup by 2017, S90 coming next year

Australian media is reporting Volvo will renew its entire lineup within the next three years.

 

The highly anticipated second-gen XC90 is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes down to Volvo's ambitious plans to overhaul its whole lineup. As a matter of fact, the XC90 will be the oldest model in the Swedish marque's lineup by 2017 as within the next three years the Geely-owned company will replace all its models and add new ones as well.

 

After the XC90's launch set for August 26, Volvo will begin final preparations for an S90 flagship sedan set to come out in 2015 as a larger and more luxurious alternative to the S80 and it could also spawn a coupe derivative. Also next year we should see a V80 wagon and/or XC80 crossover but it's not known at this moment whether both of them will coexist.

 

An all-new XC60 is set for a 2016 reveal and could receive a performance version likely prepared by Polestar. It will be followed by the next-gen S60 sedan and V60 wagon in 2017 along with the V40 hatchback that will probably gain additional variants.
