坊间关于马自达入门级跨界车CX-3的传言已久有几年了,不过最近马自达澳大利亚公司经理Martin Benders表示,这款车将很快发布。他在接受媒体采访时透露，马自达已经下定决心近日紧凑型跨界车市场，而车厂提不久将提供这一级别的产品。虽然这位高管拒绝透露具体的发布时间，但马自达先前已经宣布，计划于2016年底推出五款新车。这款入门级车型（暂且将其称为CX-3）将基于新一代马自达2，同时将搭载相同的1.5升SKYACTIV-G汽油引擎和1.5升SKYACTIV-D柴油引擎。

 

Mazda CX-3 is 'not that far away'

Rumors about an entry-level Mazda crossover have been circulating for years but Mazda Australia Managing Director Martin Benders has finally confirmed its coming.

 

In an interview with The Motor Report, Benders said "We’ve made it clear" we want to enter the compact crossover segment and Mazda's offering is "not that far away." Benders declined to give a timeframe but the company has previously announced plans to launch five new models by the end of 2016.

 

Nothing is official but the entry-level crossover - tentatively named the CX-3 - could be based on the new Mazda2. If these rumors are correct, the model could be offered with a 1.5-liter SKYACTIV-G petrol engine and a 1.5-liter SKYACTIV-D diesel engine.
