捷豹将在XE轿车之后发布其首款SUV,这也是这家英国车厂最重要,也是最引人注目的新车。最近谍照记者在纽伯格林赛道拍到了正在测试的原型车，当时它正停在赛道旁边，驾驶员从车里出来检查车辆后部，相信是出了什么问题。据拍摄这张照片的记者透露，车辆很快回到赛道，问题已经解决。这辆车与XE轿车一样采用铝制车身，高性能版将搭载取自C-X17概念车的V6机械增压引擎。据传量产版将被命名为XQ或Q-Type。这款车将主要搭载2.0升涡轮增压Ingenium系列引擎。而其运动版将被命名为QX S或Q-Type S，主要以宝马X4 M40i为竞争车型。

Jaguar SUV Prototype Breaks Down at the Nurburgring 

We've been waiting forever to see what the first Jaguar SUV looks like as a production model. It's scheduled to make an official appearance after the XE sedan and is one of the most important and interesting projects ever to come out of Britain. However, the leaping 4x4 has hit a little snag.

During a recent test session at the Nurburgring track in Germany, the test prototype suddenly decided to call it quits and had to be pulled over to the side of the track. The drive jumped out of his seat to check under the back of the vehicle, leading us to believe there's something wrong with the differential. 

TouriClips, who shot this video on location earlier today, says the prototype is back on the track and the problem was probably just and electrical one. Just like the XE sedan, which you can also see in the video, this crossover SUV will be made of aluminum and should have a performance version powered by a supercharged V6 engine, previewed by the C-X17 concept of last year. 

If rumors are to be believed, the production model will be called either the XQ or the Q-Type. Most of the engines will be turbocharged 2-liter ones from the Ingenium family. The sports model we talked about should be called the QX S or Q-Type S and would compete with a new model from BMW called the X4 M40i.
