2019 Lexus RC Heading To Paris Motor Show With Numerous Tweaks

Lexus has previewed a refreshed version of the RC coupe, due to make its first public appearance in Paris.

Borrowing design elements first introduced with the LC coupe, the 2019 RC features a new front bumper corner that blends with the reshaped headlamps.

Designers have also introduced a new grille mesh pattern and added air ducts to the rear bumper. The rear combination lamps now integrate L-shaped lenses, establishing a signature lighting character for all Lexus coupes.

On the inside, the heater control and audio panels bring a new Dark Gray Streamline treatment while the knee pads have been enlarged to create a larger sense of space.

Engineers have improved the RC's aerodynamics and refined its suspension system to achieve a more stable ride quality and sharper handling.

Aside from implementing styling revisions inside and out, Lexus has also fiddled with the turbocharged 2.0-liter gasoline engine by improving its throttle response for a livelier acceleration.

We will get to see the 2019 Lexus RC early October at the Paris Motor Show. The range-topping RC F should follow shortly, possibly at the end of November in L.A. or January 2019 in Detroit.
