近日有人在照片墙上发布了三张低像素图片，揭示了下一代宝马Z4的全貌，这次发布的是M40i车型图片，也是Z4系列的顶级款。该车将在8月23日举行的加州原石滩车展亮相。从图片看，新一代Z4并不像概念车那么具有侵略性，但比现行版更突出运动风格，这主要得益于该车锐利的车头设计和前轮拱富有雕刻感散热孔，同时新车仍保留了原来的行李箱盖扰流器。宝马已经表示，由于市场需求不足，不会推出Z4M满血版本。除了这次曝光的搭载直列六缸引擎车型外，还将推出价格更低，搭载四缸引擎车型。目前还不清楚该车规格。新车将作为2019款车型上市，与该车共享内部结构的丰田 Supra将在几个月后发布。

 

Next-generation BMW Z4 spied camo-free

Three low-resolution images posted on Instagram have revealed the next-generation BMW Z4 a few weeks ahead of its scheduled debut at this year's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.

 

The photos were uploaded in two separate posts by user Liucunyi. Seemingly taken during an invite-only preview event for prospective buyers, they confirm the production model looks far less aggressive than the concept car shown last year to preview it, which was to be expected. The new Z4 nonetheless looks sportier than the model it replaces thanks to a sharper front-end design and styling cues like vents chiseled into the fenders. The trunk lid-integrated spoiler remains.

 

The M40i model shown in the images will sit at the top of the Z4 line-up. BMW has previously confirmed there's not enough demand to warrant the development of a full-blown Z4 M. The less expensive, less powerful four-cylinder variant could arrive with a softer design than the straight-six-powered model shown here. Full technical specifications remain under wraps.

 

Stay tuned; BMW will introduce the next Z4 in California on August 23rd. Sales will start shortly after, and the roadster will arrive in showrooms as a 2019 model. The Toyota Supra that will share most of its mechanical components with the Z4 will make its official debut in the coming months.
