2019 BMW 8 Series Starts At $112,895, Arrives In U.S. In December

BMW has announced US pricing and launch details for the new 8 Series, starting with the M850i xDrive Coupe.

 

The M850i will start at $112,895 (including $995 freight) when it lands in US showrooms on December 8.The six-figure package boasts plenty of standard equipment including LED headlights with LaserLight tech, BMW Individual Merino leather upholstery, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, Adaptive M suspension with active roll stabilization, M Sport brakes and Live Cockpit Professional with 12.3- and 10.25-inch digital displays.

 

BMW has left a few significant features as optional upgrades. Buyers can add a Bowers & Wilkins surround-sound system, Driving Assistant Progessional and glass controls and knobs. On the outside, available carbon-fiber components include the roof, bumper inlays, diffusor blades and mirror caps.

 

The M850i delivers 523 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque, bringing the sizable coupe up to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds.BMW has not yet announced pricing for the entry-level 8 Series.
