吉利ConceptIconSUV概念车近日亮相北京车展。吉利并未提供任何动力系统细节，但该车与沃尔沃XC40共享沃尔沃的CMA平台。这款车古怪的设计看起来就像是任天堂游戏中才有的车型，但它是一辆实实在在的车辆。它的造型简单方正，去掉了SUV的一些棱角，增加了一些美学色彩。车顶是一款硕大的平板玻璃，可以更好的采光，增加空间感。车身侧面设计简单。而车内的仪表板似乎采用了灰色织物，呈现出一种暖色调质感。车内信息娱乐系统采用造型方正的8比特触控显示屏，排挡杆富有棱角。平坦的座椅也与主题风格很搭配，但看起来并不舒适。吉利并未透露是否计划将该车投产。不过吉利已经准备推出基于CMA平台的大量SUV车型。除了沃尔沃XC40，还有领克品牌的两款跨界车01和02。

 

Geely Concept Icon SUV Bring Boxy, 8-Bit Style Into Real World

Computer interfaces from the 1980s inspire the boxy shape for Geely's new Concept Icon SUV that premieres at the Beijing Motor Show. The Chinese automaker doesn't offer any powertrain details about the concept, but Volvo's CMA platform from vehicles like the new XC40 underpins this model, according to Autocar.

 

Taking inspiration from the type of graphics you'd find on an Nintendo Entertainment System is an odd design choice, but it works here. The styling is simple and blocky in a way that pares down the SUV into the most basic aesthetic elements. The roof is a huge panel of glass, which is perfect for a concept because it gives viewers a complete look at the cabin.

 

On the inside, Geely still opts for a simple design. In a visually fascinating touch, the instruments appear from behind gray fabric, which gives the display a warm texture. There are still blocky, 8-bit inspired touches like the rectangular infotainment display and angular gearshift. The flat seats fit the motif, too, but they don't look very comfortable.

 

Geely doesn't offer any info about whether it plans to put this boxy vehicle into production. The company already has plenty of SUVs on the way on the CMA platform, though. In addition to the upcoming Volvo XC40, the Lynk & Co brand has two other crossovers on the way – the 01 and 02.
