GM reveals stylish Buick Enspire EV concept in China
General Motors has revealed the Buick Enspire, an electric SUV concept focused on the Chinese market.
The concept features a bold exterior styling with a sleek profile and wide stance.
Inside, designers worked to achieve a "surround skyline" theme and suspended theater-inspired seating. The center console and armrests are finished in natural wood and microfiber suede.
"Cutting-edge technologies include an OLED display screen and an intelligent augmented reality technology-based head-up display system," GM says.
An eMotion electric drive system is claimed to deliver 550 horsepower and launch the Enspire to 60 mph in just four seconds. Range is said to extend up to 370 miles, with quick charging to 80 percent capacity within 40 minutes.
Unofficial reports suggest the Enspire will eventually be developed as a production vehicle that does not stray far from the concept.
