General Motors has revealed the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro, a mid-cycle update with a revised appearance and new package options.
Designers have tweaked the front end to create distinct differences between the LS/LT, RS and SS variants, including the fascia, grill and LED headlamps.The SS-specific front fascia features a 'flowtie' open bowtie grille emblem and larger air curtains, with package-specific headlights and a new extractor-style hood.The lesser RS appearance package includes a unique polished black grille with Galvano Chrome lower inserts, an LED signature bar, 20-inch wheels and a special rear fascia.
The company has also introduced a Turbo 1LE edition, joining the V6 1LE, SS 1LE and ZL1 1LE track-focused packages. The new additional includes upgraded suspension, staggered summer tires, Brembo brakes and a 2.0-liter engine with 275 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.
The 2019 lineup benefits from GM's latest infotainment systems, with optional rear camera mirror and forward collision alert.
