大众集团在年度新闻发布会上表示，到2022年将在全球16座工厂生产电动汽车。大众目前在三家工厂生产电动车，而根据“RoadmapE”（路线图E）计划，大众将在两年内重组并增加九家电动车生产厂。更重要的是，大众称已经选择合作伙伴投资200亿欧元为其在欧洲和中国两大市场的电动车项目研发电池和相关技术，而北美市场的投资也即将展开。近期计划包括推出九款新车，其中三款是纯电动车，这些车将在今年底前上市。不过，大众CEO 穆勒表示，虽然大众更注重纯电动车，大众并未放弃研发内燃机和柴油汽车。
VW to build EVs at 16 factories by 2022
Volkswagen has outlined an ambitious production plan for electric vehicles, selecting no less than 16 global factories to build EVs through the end of 2022.
The VW Group currently produces EVs at three locations. The "Roadmap E" plan will retool an additional nine group plants to manufacture electric vehicles in just two years.
Critically, the German automaker has already secured battery supply contracts for vehicles that will be sold in Europe and China, with contracts worth EUR 20 billion (~$25 billion USD). A supplier decision for North America "will be taken shortly."
The near-term plan includes nine new vehicles, three of which will be purely battery powered, to arrive in showrooms before the end of 2018.
CEO Matthias Mueller suggests the company is not turning its back on traditional powertrains, despite the focus on EVs.（刘玉欣）
