捷豹将在日内瓦车展发布I-Pace量产版纯电动SUV

Jaguar I-Pace Electrifies With 240-Mile Range, 394 HP
More than a year after its concept's global debut at the 2016 Los Angeles International Auto Show, Jaguar is unveiling its production I-Pace battery-electric SUV in Geneva.
 
The 2019 Jaguar I-Pace sports a 90kWh battery pack powering twin electric motors, delivering a total output of 293kw/394 horsepower and 512lb-ft ((694 Newton-meters)of torque. Jaguar claims this is enough to motivate the I-Pace from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 4.5 seconds--not exactly slow.
 
I-Pace will boast a maximum range of 240 miles (better than promised) and Jaguar says the battery pack can be juiced up from empty to 80% of its maximum charge in 40 minutes on a 100kW fast charger. Home charging from a standard 230V/32A wall box, meanwhile, will take ten hours to see the same 80 percent charge.
 
I-Pace's battery pack is mounted low across the floor to optimize is center of gravity, as is typical of new EVs. Jaguar also took advantage of the EV packaging flexibility to optimize its overall weight distribution, claiming it is very close to 50:50. The double-wishbone front and integral-link rear suspension setups mirror what you'll see across Jaguar's new lineup. The battery is also backed by an eight-year, 100,000-mile warranty, for those who may be concerned that British cars and electricity should never mix.
 
Much to Jaguar's credit, the exterior is an almost dead-on realization of the I-Pace concept's body, even down to the details. the I-Pace utilizes a short, low hood, an aerodynamically enhanced roof, and the same curved rear window that we saw on the original concept, all in an effort to reduce drag. The final result is a drag coefficient of just 0.29Cd. The I-Pace stretches out to 184.3 inches (4,682 millimeters), with a wheelbase of 117.7 inches (2,990 millimeters).
 
That stylish exterior gives way to an equally alluring cabin. Premium materials like Luxtec and Grained leather are littered throughout, with option of a textile Kvadrat interior, which combines a durable wool blend with recycled technical suede cloth. But even with its coupe-like styling, the I-Pace still has plenty of space; rear legroom is 35 inches (890 millimeters), with rear luggage behind the third row listed at 25.3 cubic feet, and 51.0 cubic feet with the second row folded flat.
 
The new I-Pace will go on sale in the second half of 2018 as a 2019 model year vehicle. Three standard trims will be available at launch – S, SE, and HSE – as well as a one-year First Edition trim, which will be based on the already luxurious HSE model, and will come with a number of unique features you won’t be able to find elsewhere throughout the range.
