2018年1月，一汽丰田销售8.4万辆新车，同比增长49%。其中终端零售销量63182辆，同比增长23%。不过，一汽丰田并未透露具体车型销量，只是表示威驰、皇冠、卡罗拉、荣放等车型均完成既定目标。2018年，一汽丰田将实行多项战略，包括品牌战略、车型站略、网络站略和经销商沟通支持等，全年销量必达69.5万辆，挑战71.5万辆。丰田奕泽将是基于TNGA平台的首款车型，将于6月推出。奕泽IZOA是一款小型SUV，外观相比丰田此前推出的产品，更加的运动、年轻，驾驶体验方面也会有大幅的提升。为配合TNGA架构和奕泽的推出，一汽丰田建设了全新生产线。新一生产线位于天津经济技术开发区，项目总占地面积57万平方米，建筑面积23.6万平方米，新增投资约54亿元。新生产线设计产能20万辆/年，一期产能10万辆/年。

 

FAW Toyota January sales surge 49% year on year

FAW Toyota saw YoY sales surge of 49% to 84,000 units in January. It also reached a retail volume of 63,182 units in January with a year-on-year growth of 23%, according to official FAW Toyota. However, FAW Toyota didn't expose the detailed sales statistics for its specific models, but it announced that the Vios, Crown, Corolla and RAV4 had all achieved their sales target in January.

 

In 2018, FAW Toyota Motor Sales will implement several strategies, such as brand strategy, model strategy, network strategy and dealership communication support. With these strategies, FAW Toyota is ambitious to reach annual sales of 695,000 units and attempts to challenge sales target of 715,000 units in 2018.

 

The Toyota IZOA, which will be built on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) first, will hit the market in June. Compared with Toyota's previous models, the IZOA is a compact SUV with a sportier and youthful appearance, delivering more remarkable driving experience. In addition, the company will release an all-new model and seven upgraded models in 2018.

 

FAW Toyota even built an all-new production line in Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Area to support the introduction of TNGA and the IZOA. The production line project covers a total area of 570,000 square meters and the building occupies an area of 236,000 square meters. With an investment of RMB 5.4 billion, the new production line is designed to have an annual production capacity of 200,000 units and its first phase will achieve an annual production capacity of 100,000 units.
