Ford has brought the 2019 Edge Titanium Elite to Chicago, showcasing a new premium trim that will be sold alongside the Edge ST and existing 2018 packages.The Elite edition boasts unique 20-inch wheels, complete body-color side cladding and a new rear skid plate.

 

Buyers will be limited to a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 250 horsepower, the only powertrain available for non-ST packages, while all-wheel drive is available as an optional upgrade.

 

The addition reflects Ford's scramble to fill out its crossover and SUV lineup with more options, especially at higher price points that many buyers seem to gravitate toward.

 

The company has not announced a launch date or pricing, though the Elite will likely carry a modest premium over the $37,000 Titanium package.
