东风本田今年的销售目标是74万辆，而到今年六月底，预计东本在中国的累计销量将达到400万辆。从去年的统计数据看，东本在中国市场非常火爆。从2015年的406500辆到2017年的727025辆。特别是东风本田2017年前10个月销量就已经超越2016年全年销量（595707辆）。在市场端取得的优异成绩，自然离不开丰富的产品阵容作为支撑。目前，东风本田旗下拥有思域、杰德、艾力绅、CR-V、思铂睿、XR-V等9款在售车型，其中CR-V、XR-V以及UR-V的2017年的累计销量超过39万辆，在所有车型中占据了相当高的比例。东风本田凭借广州和武汉两大工厂的51.2万辆的年产能，完成了去年727025辆的销量成绩。目前，正在建设的第三工厂预计将于2019年建成投产，投产后将为东风本田的产能将达到75万辆/年，并将具备生产新能源汽车的能力。同时，东本还计划投资3.69亿元人民币建立引擎生产工厂。项目建成后年产引擎能将达到60万台/年。此外，一款基于紧凑型SUV平台打造的纯电动SUV车型正在由东风本田、广汽本田和本田技研科技（中国）有限公司三家企业共同开发，近期将在中国市场销售。
Dongfeng Honda aims to achieve 740,000 sales target in 2018
According to Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co.,Ltd (Dongfeng Honda), the company aims to achieve an annual sales target of 740,000 units in 2018. By the end of June this year, the cumulative sales volume of Dongfeng Honda is expected to exceed 4,000,000 units in China.
From the previous statistics, Dongfeng Honda has been very popular in China's auto market. The company's annual sales were increased year by year from 406,500 units in 2015 to 727,025 units last year. Especially, the cumulative sales of the first 10 months in 2017 had already surpassed the 2016 annual sales of 595,707 units.
Rich product portfolio contributed to Dongfeng Honda's outstanding sales performance to some degree. Presently, the company has owned 9 models, including Civic, Jade, CR-V, Spirior, XR-V, etc. Particularly, three SUV models, CR-V, XR-V and UR-V, had reached a sum annual sales volume of over 390,000 units, accounting for a considerable percentage of the overall annual sales in 2017.
Currently, Dongfeng Honda has two vehicle plants in Guangzhou and Wuhan with an annual production capacity of 512,000 units in total. Through an efficient resource deployment, the automaker unexpectedly sold 727,025 vehicles throughout 2017. The third plant has been under construction and is predictably put into production in 2019. Once the third plant starts to operate, Dongfeng Honda's overall production capacity will up to 750,000 units per year. Besides, the company will be possessed the ability of manufacturing new energy vehicles (NEV).
At the same time, Dongfeng Honda plans to implement an engine-production project with a planned investment of RMB 369 million. The project is set to enhance the automaker's annual engine production capacity to 600,000 units.
In addition, a pure electric SUV model is being jointly developed by Dongfeng Honda, GAC Honda and Honda Motor China Technology Co., Ltd and will be sold in Chinese market in the near future.
