Porsche is reportedly planning to build three different Mission E configurations to take on the Tesla Model S.
The entry-level package is expected to deliver just over 400 horsepower, while a midrange trim will bump output up to 536 ponies, unnamed sources have told Automobile.
The flagship electric sedan is said to boast no less than 670 horsepower, with 429 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque from the rear drive unit and 221 pound-feet of torque for the front wheels.
The Mission E will arrive in dual-motor configurations only, though Porsche is believed to be considering an entry-level rear-wheel-drive edition as a later addition. Pricing is expected to start as low as $75,000, with a production target of 30,000 units annually.
